Milkwood is located approximately 3 hours from New York City and 1.5 hours from Albany, NY. There is ample parking once you arrive.

Trailways buses from New York City arrive daily in Stamford at 12:45pm, and in Delhi at 4:52pm. With advance notice, we can coordinate complimentary guest travel to and from these towns.

by train

The nearest train station is the Amtrak station in Albany-Rensselaer, about a 90-minute drive from Milkwood. With advance notice, we can coordinate guest travel to and from Milkwood through a car service in Albany. The cost ranges from $200-$250 per trip. (If they are driving multiple people, the cost will be divided proportionally.)

The nearest airport is Albany International, about a 90-minute drive from Milkwood. With advance notice, we can coordinate guest travel to or from Milkwood through a car service in Albany. EARLY ARRIVALS

If you are coming from further afield and arriving a day before your retreat, we suggest you stay at The Mill Pond Inn in Jefferson, NY, which is a 20-minute drive from Milkwood. There are only five rooms in the bed and breakfast and they book up quickly, so we recommend making a reservation early. We can arrange for a car service to drive you from Albany to Jefferson, and then we’ll drive you to Milkwood (free of charge) on the first day of your retreat.
